Blood Drive Initiative
Our blood drive initiative is driven by the need to address the critical shortage of blood in healthcare facilities, particularly in underrepresented communities. We aim to build a community-centric approach to healthcare, where regular blood donation becomes a part of our culture, helping save lives while also fostering a sense of unity and support.
Initially, our blood drives will be hosted annually, with plans to increase frequency as we build more partnerships and expand our reach. Our ultimate goal is to establish a network of regular blood drives in collaboration with local churches, mosques, and community centres.
We are working towards setting up future research labs that will focus on blood health and related diseases. These labs will support ongoing research and innovation, aiming to improve blood donation processes, enhance donor health, and contribute to the global medical community. This initiative is part of a broader effort to establish CarrCare as a leader in community-driven healthcare solutions.
“We’re currently preparing for our January 2026 blood drive, focusing on legal licenses, partnerships with mobile phlebotomy and nursing services, and building relationships with churches and mosques to host these drives by during Blood Drive Awareness Month.”
This fall, during the giving season, CarrCARE will host a fundraiser to support our January 2026 Blood Drive Initiative. The event will feature entertainment, survivor stories, charity auctions, and raffles, raising funds for medical supplies and awareness efforts. Attendees can contribute through ticket sales, sponsorships, and donations, helping us provide life-saving resources to those in need.
